Kesuksesan single Glad You Came di Amerika, membuat boyband asal Inggris, The Wanted, untuk semakin percaya diri dalam upaya menaklukkan pasar Amerika. Sebagai single susulan, mereka bersiap merilis Chasing The Sun yang kabarnya akan terdapat dalam album re-issue album Battleground. Single yang ditulis oleh Example ini memang sangat kental dengan sentuhan elektro-pop-dance. Tempo yang cepat diharapkan dapat memanaskan semangat menggebu saat menyimak lagunya. Dengan mengandalkan hook yang cermat, Chasing The Sun memanglah sebuah lagu pop yang seru dan cukup easy listening meski terkesan sedikit edgy.
