Burn It Down adalah single terbaru Linkin Park untuk album kelima mereka, Living Things. Untuk single ini lagi-lagi Linkin Park bekerjasama dengan Rick Rubin, yang bertindak sebagai produser bersama dengan Mike Shinoda. Chester Bennington, vokalis grup ini, menyebutkan jika Burn It Down adalah “the really high energy and the really strong electronic melodies and hooks kind of set this song apart, which is why we chose it as our first single“. Dan memang tidak salah, karena Burn It Down hadir dengan konsep rock tradisional ala Linkin Park. Yep. perpaduan antara rock dengan elektronik yang dulu membesarkan nama Linkin Park diolah kembali menjadi sesuatu yang menyegarkan dan sesuatu yang bisa kita harapkan dari grup sekaliber Linkin Park. Single ini dirilis pada tanggal 16 April, setelah sebelumnya Linkin Park meluncurkan sejumlah puzzle untuk dipecahkan oleh para fans untuk dapat mendengarkan snippet single ini.
