Untuk album debutnya, lovestrong, Christina Perri memilih Distance sebagai single ketiganya. Pilihan yang cukup beralasan. Distance sekali lagi menunjukkan kemampuan Perri dalam menulis dan menyanyikan sebuah lagu romantis yang cantik namun tidak terlupa semangat indie-rock yang diusungnya, sehingga Distance hadir sebagai lagu manis tanpa terdengar pasaran. Istimewanya lagi, dalam single ini, Perri dibantu oleh solois pria populer Jason Mraz. Meski lebih cenderung berperan sebagai backing vokal ketimbang mitra berduet, namun kehadiran vokal Mraz menambah semarak performa single ini. Kehadiran Mraz terasa sempurna mempermanis single ini. Dirilis pada tanggal 20 Maret.
