Mula-mula Nicki memanggil nama sang bintang, Willow, lalu mulailah dentuman sambutan terdengar. Bagian pertama kita langsung disuguhkan chorus-nya yang addicted. Sebuah kalimat pernyataan, Willow Sang Bola Api, ditembangkan berulang-ulang.
Lirik demi lirik, Willow ingin memberitahu dunia bahwa dirinyalah orang yang paling beruntung. Dia hebat, berbakat, punya orang tua yang kaya raya, terkenal, apa yang ia mau bisa ia miliki. Dia mampu membuat suasana jadi riuh, kacau, bermasalah. Dia juga mampu membuat semuanya angkat topi dan bertepuk tangan. Apa lagi yang kurang? Bahkan ia katakan, “Since I landed here, I gon’ phone up a Obama.”
Pada dasarnya single ini adalah nomor pop R&B yang juga menyatukan gaya rap. Willow kembali membawa kita ke nuansa Whip My Hair. Nada dan ketukannya mampu menghinoptis pendengarnya untuk menggoyangkan bahu mereka sambil mendengar “I’m the fireball, fireball, fireball,” yang dilantunkan Willow. Kelemahannya, Willow kurang mengekspos vokalnya meski di detik ke-50 Willow mampu menunjukkan eksistensi di nada tinggi melengking. Tapi di bagian itu terlalu minim. Ditambah lagichorus lagu ini memiliki potensi annoying seperti pendahulunya, Whip My Hair.
Jadi, putar track ini berulang-ulang hingga kamu dapat memutuskan track ini addicted atau annoying. Watch the fire burn!
